About Sydney Taylor

Sydney Taylor is from a small town in central Ohio where God set a passion in her heart for music at a young age. Sydney vividly remembers the moment she first felt close to Jesus. During one of the darkest seasons of her life she had come to believe the lies of the enemy and struggled with deep insecurity, even resentment toward the person God created her to be. She couldn’t see her own worth and was in a painful mental and emotional space.

It was in that season that Sydney met Jesus for the first time through worship music. In the middle of her brokenness, she found safety in His presence and peace in His nearness. Worship music became a lifeline. She would play the same song on repeat to calm her thoughts enough to sleep. Music became the place where Jesus met her—and where healing began.

As she grew, Sydney began attending church and pressing deeper into worship. It became the way she sought God and connected with Him most intimately. His presence was her sanctuary, and through that time, her love for music blossomed. She began leading worship at her home church and discovered a passion for sharing God’s heart and presence with others. Spending time in His presence healed her mind, restored her identity, and gave her purpose.

Now, Sydney Taylor’s desire is that through her music, people would encounter Jesus right where they are. That they would find peace in the presence of God and find the same love she found when she needed it most.
